Romola is the volunteer coordinator of the Circle of All Nations, a global eco-community linked by late Indigenous Elder William Commanda’s unshakeable conviction that irrespective of colour, creed or culture, we must regain our respect for the penultimate mother. Born in South Africa of East Indian ancestry, she has resided in Canada since 1970. She worked the federal government (federal corrections, Aboriginal justice and policing, and restorative justice) for over twenty-five years. She is the voluntary director of the Wolf Project, which honours efforts to promote racial harmony. She has authored two books on the work of Dr. William Commanda, OC, (Learning from a Kindergarten Dropout Books 1 and 2), and a photo journal on her kayaking explorations of Bitobi Lake, Quebec. She is presently engaged in doctoral studies.
