Robbie Anderman

Robbie Anderman was “just a typical American boy from a typical American town….” who began singing Phil Ochs’ songs in high school, played them on his local radio show, dodged the draft, moved to Killaloe and co-founded in 1969 an off-grid, intentional community that still thrives. Luthier and player of ¬†dulcimers & flutes, organic orchardist & gardener, hemp activist (Cool Hemp & HempSeeDee.com), and on the Board of the Local National Farmers Union. Robbie regularly plays at local events and has also played at a few Ontario Folk Festivals. Living in the forested hills of the Upper Ottawa Valley has inspired his three CDs of mellow flute music.
