Patricia Reynolds has been singing and playing music for a long time. She has also been teaching for many years and recently retired from her work with the Centre for Initiatives in Education at Carleton University where she coordinated the Aboriginal Enriched Support Program. She began playing music ‘seriously’ at Rose’s Cantina in Morin Heights and the Yellow Door coffee house in Montreal in the late 70s, and traveled throughout Canada, the US, and Bermuda. The birth of her son in the late 80s prompted a return to teaching as a full-time profession and since that time she has usually been involved in some way with music teaching or garage choirs, and is a member of the Elizabeth Riley Band. She is now also exploring the interesting terrain of folk festival volunteer organizing.
